Media Gane and Imavov going at it in sparring

You’d think they’d give Shahbazyan a step down for a fight. Dudes gonna ruin his career

I almost thought you were taking the piss TS; but they stepped it up a few notches after a slow start. Fun scramble and both guys having a laugh and smiling which is good to see.

WTF was that sparring lol. Super sloppy out of Gane, but he almost just looked like he was doing it that way to have fun.

Imavov should beat Shaybazan if he really is the main sparring partner for Gane. He has to be good to be sparring a guy like that who is 2 weight classes heavier.
 
There are similarities in the way Gane and Imavov fight. The stance, the movement, the way they throw their jab.
Imavov is more boxing oriented, while Gane uses a lot of kicks.

He grew up mostly in France and his dad was a boxer (I think).

Most likely Gane was fighting in way that boosts Imavov's confidence. I already heard their coach talking about this approach to sparring during camps, you don't want to fragilize your fighter's mental by getting him beat up just before a fight.
 
Gane lift his chin up high every time he throw a punch combiation in that sparring video.
