Busted my PS3 out of storage. I played D3 to death on PC, not keen on buying on PS3 but would love some hack and slash goodness on PS3.

Anybody know of any similar games?

I did some googling (arpg on ps3) and the short answer is no.

Just a bunch of threads from other forums with people arguing whether or not Skyrim is an ARPG.

I had the same luck. Maybe i'll just get it on PS3 for couch co-op.

Dragon Crown is a 2D beat em up but it's extremely fun and every dungeon gives you loot drops.

Might be a stretch, but have you looked into Sacred 2?

I'm pretty sure Sacred 3 is similar right?

I was in the same boat as you, after playing Diablo to death on the ps3 and wanting more. I ended up playing Baldur's Gate DA on my old xbox.

Since my first post was ignored I'll say it one more time, please play Dragon's Crown. The game is so underappreciated but it is amazing and had a blast playing with my friends. The game also has several difficulty modes once you get past normal so there is replay value as well.

Good beat 'em up, but not exactly what TS is looking for.

As for TS, it's slim to none pickens on the consoles. I know the 360 has Torchlight(not sure about PS3), but after Diablo, it'll seem fairly limited in scope. It's still a great game, but it's no Diablo. There were a few Marvel games made way back that might scratch that itch, but again, they ain't no Diablo.

Might as well just grab Diablo. It does play great on the consoles, and using a controller might be enough to make it seem a bit fresh.

ESO is very much like diablo. In terms of story mode and gameplay. Only difference is that view is first person.
