That's probably an even less likely fight for him to procure. Poirier has literally said he wants a 3rd title shot but also "fighting Beneil doesn't really make sense for me, ya know?" These guys really ruined the division. You know Islam won 10 fights in a row, Charles won 8 fights in a row before their title shots, Beneil has won 8 in a row, Fiziev 6 in a row, Arman had won 5 in a row just as Damir had won 5 in a row. You know what they had in common? None of them fought Gaethje or Poirier...Chandler neither but he was a newer inclusion, albeit just as bad.
