Poirier gets 4 years to recover and Gaethje gets nothing
Didn't Poirier take no time to recover after the first poke?

And Gaethje should have been disqualified for the 2nd eye poke. JUST LOOK AT THE FIRST ROUND YOU GOD DAMN MORON. JP looked completely fine -- then he gets eye poked and his eye is swollen as hell at the end of the round. The damage to JP's eye was 100% from the eye poke.
The 1st eye poke should have been 1 point, and the 2nd should have been a DQ.
I'm only sad that Gaethje doesn't have permanent vision damage. I have no sympathy for pathetic, disgusting, dirty, gutless cheaters like Gaethje.
Rediclious? If he did good for him. Justin poked the shit out of both his eyes.
Eddie, Dustin, Lee and Justin are all killers. This division is Rediclious. Then add in Tony, Conor and Khabib.
Holy shit.
I wouldn't quite go that far but I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often.
It's the same with low blows, mma fighters don't seem to give one back but boxers usually do.
Rediclious?
as the old saying goes and eye for an eye
So knowone posted "an eye for an eye" yet? WTF sherdoggers. Get it together.
is aw bas rutten on JRE and he way saying how in pancrase which is open palm striking no one ever landed eye pokes.. and he said that he thinks alot of guys do it on purpose.
Was just wondering if it was deliberate, no need to get so touchy.Oh fuck off. Tiny keyboard on a damn phone.

Did he think he had a monopoly on eyepokes? I'm glad someone finally decided to do that; tired of seeing guys get eyepoked then have to deal with that while their opponent reaps the benefit of fighting someone with impaired vision.
Good. Gathje poked him twice. Once is a mistake twice isn't . He deserved that.
This! I was at the fight.. the second rye poke, he threw a punch and opened his fist up before contact to seemingly poke Dustin on purpose.. then acted like he didn't even poke him once the action was stopped. Why? Geathje committed the ultimate combat sports faux pas. He was clearly losing the standup and his leg kicks weren't working.
Both of those eye pokes were intentional.
THEN JG HAD THE IGNORANCE TO COMPLAIN WHEN HE GOT POKED BACK.
