Just like you wanting to protect workers’ rights probably doesn’t mean you want to fuck over businesses, because, uhhhh, there are no workers without businesses (also, President Obama had 8 years with a majority control for much of it to close the tax loopholes for his “rich” buddies but didn’t do it. Hmmmmm )... everything isn’t either/or, and hopefully everyone agrees we want successful businesses AND opportunities for our workers. People just disagree on how to best accomplish that (which is why individual states get to make their own specific laws about that stuff).

Even if the Democrats were Marxists, which the party leadership certainly aren't, them winning an election would be more akin to the socialists taking power democratically in Chile in 1970 and in Brazil in 2002.
