Any fusion dancers out there?

Fusion is similar to the concept of MMA. Dancers with different backgrounds get together to dance to almost any kind of music. I’ve studied Argentine tango, west coast swing, blues, and dabbled with salsa, cha cha, ecstatic, contact improv, hip hop, and lindy hop.

The Bay Area has a large fusion scene. I started partner dancing about 11 years ago and it really enriched my life in ways I couldn’t imagine. What I find really fun is dancing in random places... dancing while hiking or at a town plaza during Christmas.

Here are a couple of examples of me doing my thing... I think fusion dancing is a nice complement to my jiu Jitsu and mixed martial arts training.

Lol i respect your balls, man....But this is Sherdog
You think the deviants and neanderthals on here are doing the Fox trot in their spare time?

I took a ballroom dancing course with an ex-girlfriend for about a year a while back
It was actually pretty fun
Never heard of this 'fusion dancing' though

Lol...Those are hiking pants! :)

Thanks. I have to say, dancing has increased the amount of women who are interested in me. More so than having a black belt In jiu Jitsu.

The irony is that it's not the dancing, it's the Capri pants and sandals.
More power to you my sherbro for unashamedly doing what you like

I’ve been known to tear up Dance Dance Revolution from time to time.
