That's just the strength of the UFC.Him vs Gane sold at least 500k. Not bad for a guy who the promotion is trying to bury. He isnt an A tier draw, but he's still a draw and clearly underpaid.
Are you the stupids?Well Wilder is about as good a boxer as Francis and he has knocked out 41 out of 42 opponents. Tyson made Wilder look like an amateur for 20+ rounds yet got dropped 4 times and was seconds away from losing 2 of those fights. The whole sweet science thing dosent really apply in the heavies, everyone is going to get hit in a boxing fight over the course of 12 rounds, especially guys that big who have bigger targets and cant move out of the way as easily, the whole punchers chance isnt just something people say. Its happened time and time again through out the history of the sport especially in the bigger weight classes. Plus if this is MMA gloves as they seem to suggest than you bet your ass Francis got a real punchers chance.
That's just the strength of the UFC.
The UFC could take 2 bums, make a decent HL reel of them training, call them knock out artists, hype them ESPN interviews, call them the 2 best fighters in the world and sell 500K ppv?

No because every UFC would be 500k then... that isn't the floor.
How much has the worst selling HW title ppv in the last 5 years or so sold? 425K?No because every UFC would be 500k then... that isn't the floor.
380k I believe for Stipe-Ngannou 1, less if you count the Lewis-Gane interim fight. How much has the worst selling HW title ppv in the last 5 years or so sold? 425K?
Sorry ... do you mean the best in the UFC (present) or ever? Big fat NO.
Most HWs have a good chin & his good chin comes from his size.
The question is, how long can he maintain that? The only reason why he survived Stipes punch off the backfoot ... was size.
What happens if he eats more punches against guys as big as him or even bigger?
Ngannou's chin is definitely up there in terms of UFC all timers. He has taken big shots from Rozenstruik, Miocic, and Gane and never been KO/TKOd or knocked down in his professional career.
The biggest hitter who has ever landed on him was Rozenstruik, who appeared to land a relatively clean right hook, though the forward momentum of Ngannou may have parried some of the impact. Frank has a good poker face so it is hard to tell when he is truly hurt.
Fury would be likely to KO him but it would likely more of an attritive KO than one due solely to power.

He has better luck with the current version of Jones than he ever would with FuryLooks like Ngannou is running from Jones already
Good news is that even if he's not a big draw, he should make a lot of money if this fight ever materializes, bad news is he's going to make the UFC community look really bad when he gets fucked up
Weak reply. Ngannou wasn't even aiming to KO Gane. If you actually look at the fight, Ngannou was going to the body early, then resorted to wrestling.
You like to talk a big knowledable game, but you don’t know shit if you think Francis actually touched Ganes chin. Because that's what you're arguing.
How so? Because he didn't KO Gane?Frank Ngannou is demonstrably not as powerful as fanboys like yourself believe.
Sorry little buddy facts are facts.
