So Fury has today come out and said as Wilder is fighting Ortiz "later this year", he hopes to fight again in the UK in December after fighting Wallin.

Now if im not mistaken, was the Fury fight a 3 fight deal, so that will basically end any obligations he has to Arum at that point, having been paid a LOT of money for fighting 3 absolute cans.

Arum meanwhile has come out and said mhe doesnt understand why the Wilder rematch is not next....

Let’s be honest, neither of them appear to really want the rematch! I’ll show some interest if they ever sign a contract

Amazing how Wilder tried to get the immediate rematch and is still trying to get the rematch.

Do you believe him though? Wilder and Fury both lie a lot. Wilder also seems to only push for the rematch when AJ has a big announcement or fight coming up to try and draw the attention.

He has a 5 fight deal.

Arum was alluding to the nonsensical interim fights ordered by the organizations... has nothing to do with him and Fury.

Arum also indicated that they have reached a verbal agreement for the rematch a long time ago.

Your threads are as usually misleading and full of half-truths.

You’re spot on. Wilder is a real champion and wants to fight the best. Fury is a pathetic joke holding a fake “lineal title”.

They both have a history of talking a lot. I don’t believe anything that either of them say. Announcing the fury fight on the eve of AJ vs Ruiz and it still hasn’t been sorted. They are as bad as each other

Wilder is REALLY taking a risk here. Rematching Ortiz is probably even more dangerous than Rematching Fury. That first Ortiz fight was going really bad for Wilder until Ortiz gassed out. If Ortiz comes in in better shape Wilder could be in deep trouble here. High risk low reward. In my opinion Wilder has balls of steel for doing this. Can’t knock the man. Ortiz is out of shape, so I don’t blame him for not taking the Joshua fight with just a couple weeks notice. If he gets in a full training camp though I think he’s gonna be very dangerous here. I don’t see him making the same mistakes he did last time. Maybe Wilder thinks Ortiz might be done and can blow him out like the Stiverne rematch? I’m anxious for this fight lol. With Ortiz, Wilder, Joshua, and Ruiz, all booked, and Whyte with the PED troubles, who’s left for Fury?

Nah rematching fury is way riskier fury is gonna be fight ready next time, wasn't as match fit the first time round that he Could've been. Ortiz has aged alot in a short time and looked like crap in his last couple fights. I expect wilder to wipe the floor with ortiz and much quicker this time

    This.

Wilder took everything Ortiz had and still KOed him. Older Ortiz can hardly do better, while Fury can certainly box Wilder's ears off.

The Wilder-Fury rematch was planned for February 22nd. The problem now is it will be delayed further for two reasons. The first is that evidently Wilder won't be rematching Ortiz until November. The second reason is that after hearing the news Fury now wants another fight in December. We're looking at May or June at the earliest for the rematch assuming both win their fights in the interim.

Thats patently false. Wilder was pushing for the rematch immediately after the fight.

One side literally admitted they werent taking it. It wasnt Wilders.

Wilder has deserved some legit criticisms but I cant believe some of the shit that gets thrown at this guy lol. Its ridiculous. This one is especially silly.

Wilder didn't lie about the Fury rematch being signed just to take away from the AJ v Ruiz fight then?
