Eating and drinking are fun! I love it, love it, love it. New restaurant or foodtruck, beer or wine tasting, pub crawls etc. But every so often one sees, "Damn, my every weekend is revolving around eating and drinking." I wanna switch it up this weekend, and take my wife out to do something non - eating and drinking centered.

So just thought I'd start a thread and see, what sorts of things do Sherdoggers enjoy doing for fun that doesn't center on eating and drinking:

Sleeping!

Playing uno or scattegories with my daughter.

Kayaking, running, yoga.

Sleeping.

Beach, movies, hiking, fucking, reading, scrabble, but truly, ill be drinking

Lol didn't whole OP

Take her to a couples spa day - then guilt her into the dirrty sexy times.

I just got into hiking, but my girl is terrified of heights so things get weird sometimes. But I would suggest hiking.

I agree with hiking. There is something satisfying standing at the top of a mountain and looking around.

I will back up the hiking recommendation. I just started hiking recently and have gotten some amazing experiences out of it. Or if you have a climbing wall in your area then that also could be fun.

Beyond that, it's sometimes fun to do educational things like museums, the zoo, aquariums and planetariums. I also really enjoy going to see stage plays, so if you have a decent theater in your city I'd definitely recommend that. The symphony or the ballet can also be fun at times, but I'd take a play or musical over those any day.

It's interesting that young people often have a really hard time figuring out what to do together when alcohol is not around.

Hiking is fun
We enjoy kayaking also
Comedy Club is a good change of pace

We've recently begun playing disc golf to have a few chuckles.

No shit. It was always clubbing or chilling at a pub or drinking wine at friends house when I was younger. I go for musical nowadays but the group is tiny compared to drinking sessions.

This thread is very good for idea generating for future.

A nice session of cozy Sherdog posting together with your wife. Share the fun with her too for once.

Poker, putt putt, bowling, casino, strip club, shooting range.
