His fight against Michael Johnson
was just made available by UFC Brasil.

Imo, it was the last time we saw Diaz
in his best shape ever. His previous
fight to this, against Dos Anjos, he
came in a little heavy. After that
beating he took from leg kicks
& takedowns... Nate must've known
that he was backed into a corner by
both the company & the community.
From Dana & the "needle mover"
comments, to the AC fiasco with his
brother & preventing Nick from
cornering him, etc.... He knew he had
to put his foot on the gas against a
truly dangerous, fast & well trained
south paw with not much notoriety
behind his name. This is the fight that
set up the famous post fight interview
which led to his name being thrown
into the hat for the McGregor fight.

Imo, it's a good way to gauge how
sharp & strong Nate could potentially
come in for the Mcgregor rematch.
Johnson is not a small man & he is
no doubt one of the fastest, if not,
THE fastest fighter at LW. Plus, he's
a south paw, whose tough as fuck
& comes out quick. Sound familiar?

I understand that this fight is at 155.
But with the adequate amount of time
to prepare, the cut to 170 will be
healthier & cleaner (no tequila shots).

A little bit of me wants to see Nate
spoil everyone's hopes & dreams
& just go in for an early opportune
take down & choke him out before
Conor even realizes he's in a fight.

He was on-point in that Johnson fight. Even CHECKED multiple leg kicks, which is rare for a Diaz bro.

He smacked Johnson up good and frustrated him. Mike even said after the fight that Nate got in his head. haha

Michael Johnson was on a tear and he was a -400 favorite coming into the fight. He got mentally broken by Nate. Great outing for Nate.

I enjoyed your poem. Even though I did not read.

war nate.

he's gonna stockton noodle conor all over again

But what motivation does Nate have now that he wouldn't have in other fights where he was unmotivated ? He was motivated against MJ so he could get paid against Conor. It worked...twice. He's set.

Put on a little plum clinch show
in the third round too. His boxing
was as crisp as I've probably ever
seen in this fight. When he's on...
he bewilders people. Pretty wild
to see...

That was a great night for ol Johnydamus. Both Nate and the Reem made me some good money.

He was very good in this fight. I was so happy to see him get the win and make his comeback. But even in that fight he showed he gets hit with hard shots a little too much. He can take them for sure. But still you don't want to be taking too many. Conor will catch him I feel.

At this point, man, I just want to see them go at it. I don't even care who wins. I like them both in different ways so I'd be happy for either man if he wins. I just want to see what all the adjustments and preparations produce in this fight. Can't wait!

That's a very good point. But I think he is motivated just by his self pride for this one. He does NOT want to lose to Conor, at all.

He's motivated for a fight? And was able to have a full camp this time around? Who knew?

It was an excellent perfomance, but it wasn't that beatdown as some might say, Johnson had some success.
But if this Nate shows up against Conor he'll make El Tapo tap even quicker

funniest fucking fight ever

thanks for the video

by the way, johnson showed a billion times more heart, cardio and chin than connie

that fight alone should tell everyone who to go for in Conor vs Nate. MJ would murk Conor.
