Frostbite is probably the best gym up in Squarebanks. They always come prepared when they come down for AFC events, they just won the 155 belt.

I have never personally been there, but being the only Alaskan on here I felt most qualified to post.

I believe a couple of guys who train there post over on The Underground.

well now you have one more fairbanks guy lol i trained there for like 6 months and after a while the training got kind of redundant. since it is not split up by level (beginner, intermediate, advanced, etc) the training is kind of in this middle level where it can be too hard for the new guys, but way too easy for the experienced guys. also if you are a wrestler, there is not much there for you

So, people actually live in Fairbanks... Wrestling wasn't really my thing. I was actually looking for good Jiu-Jitsu instruction. Anyways:

    1. Are there any other gyms in the area?
    2. Are there competitions that are not in Anchorage?

    Thanks.

    1. Yes, there is one other gym: Gladiators Elite.
    2. There are a couple up in Fairbanks, and one down in Soldatna. Which is even farther south then Anchorage is.
