i hate how they do point deductions/DQs.
the Unified Rules are just a bastardization of the boxing rules, but there is no set manner to handle fouls; it is all left to the discrepancy of the referee. In boxing, you typically get two warnings and then a point deduction, and if it continues in that same round, you get a 2nd point deduction and then a DQ. In MMA, you might get numerous warnings without a point deduction, or they can take away points without a warning, or they can straight DQ you. in the case of Hamill-Jones, Jones shouldn't have been DQed but should have recieved point deductions, and if Hamill couldn't continue, go to the score cards or something.
