I actually have a question about this. Does training punch resistance in this way create more problems than it solves?

its just a conditioning drill, while also being a mental exercise..... when I was preparing for Thai fights the gym I was at would do that with using thai pads. With Boxing gloves it seems really intense. Would take a lot of mental strength just to take them all without breaking, never mind the physical stength

But conditioning drills can be achievied with easier and less frequent punching.

I am here bro reporting for duty. The problem with Conor is that he is not really 5'8 but 5'4 with a big melon. So he has a tiny frame, tiny abs ,tiny everything. So punching his abs will strengthen them but in the end they are just strong tiny abs that will not be able to absorb Diaz punches.
