I was considering Jack Lemmon, but I couldn't fit him in. Unfortunately.

Clint n Paul

Anyone else is a level below for the 60s

Clint had a niche (tough guy Western/Military/Cop) that he found in the 60's and where he was great but outside that i do not think he thought to have any acting range to include him amongst the greats.

Kind of like Keanu who is great in one area (action) but really struggles outside that., mostly.

I am reading Tarantino's book, Cinema Speculation. He has, what I would describe as, a healthy obsession for 1960's Steve McQueen.
