Not which is the best but which is your favorite/the one you would want to fight with?

Overeem or Cain or prime Fedor?

DC or Rumble or prime Shogun?

Rockhold or Romero or prime Anderson?

Wonderboy or Woodley or prime GSP?

Alvarez or Pettis or prime BJ?

Conor or Aldo or Frankie?

Cruz or Dillashaw or prime Faber?

Nunes or Shevchenko or Ronda?

Not going to do FLW or WSW since those would probably be really one-sided lol.

Reem, Rumble, Fedor

Prime Fedor but with even better cardio.

Overeem has probably the most unique skillset in MMA history, so him. Rockhold is in that discussion, too. On paper, they shouldn't lose a fight.

Cain
Shogun
Rockhold
GSP
Prime BJ
Aldo
Killishaw
Nunes

I'm not fighting with someone under 170lbs

Cain, Rumble, Romero, Woddley because they look like thugs.
(is that racist?)

We need to consider style matchups in the respective divisions. Pride Shogun for instance had the best skills but LHW currently has a bunch of wrestlers who'd blanket him for the entire fight.

Pride Fedor - Good overall skills, amazing speed, intelligence, and ability to adjust in fights
DC - Workable standup, and can wrestlefuck anyone not named Jon Jones
Romero - Jesus ain't letting him down
Prime GSP - Still the best overall skills, good striker, and anyone with better striking than him still gets taken down and worked.
Prime BJ Penn - No one beats him when he's motivated
Aldo - Most consistent, hardest to beat as long as he fights smart
Dillashaw - Yes Cruz beat him, but it was close and I still think TJ's style is more effective and does more damage against the rest of the division
Shevchenko - Still hasn't got her MMA striking fully dialed yet, but when she does and figures out good game plans, she's going to be very hard to beat

I dunno about Rockhold's striking defense and offensive wrestling being so good he should never lose a fight on paper...

Edit - what the heck with the KOed guy emoticon?

I want Tim Kennedy's skillset.

He's a heavyweight that throws knees, what's so unique about his skill set? I see people harping on about this all the time, oh yeah he added an oblique kick from Jacksons too.. big deal.

Let me know when he throws something like this.

It's an interesting point, and Cain along with JDS are total experts at just out and out beating guys up. How many subs does Cain have though? None. Look what Overeem did to JDS, he made it look easy. JDS had nowhere to go. Overeem and Rockhold actually lose by arrogance. They have so many ways to win. Plus, look at the overall number of fights Overeem's been in, that experience helps, even though he isn't what he once was.

I never even thought about the submission side of things. Although I think there have been times in the past where Cain had an opponent obliterated and could have sunk a choke in but went for the gnp finish. Reem has that teep kick finish on arlovskj too, to be fair.

HW get a lot of flack for not being as technical as the rest of the ufc but JDS, Cain and Reem are up there with anyone
