Wow! Yank PPVs are ridiculously expensive, hail the stream.
Yeah, they really are. Mayweather fights are about 10-20 bucks more than everyone elses as well. Good to keep in mind when comparing his numbers to other fighters.

Mayweather's fight with Maidana was 80 dollars. So it made almost 3x as much per buyer than they did in England and only sold about 50k less buys. They generated much more money.

I am sensitive about this.
One fifth of the Pop. and spunks on Floyd. Hmmm..
Actually there are reports that Floyd is interested in fighting Khan at Wembley too, maybe hearing the numbers piqued his interest?
1/10 cuz i repliedYou're just a sensitive little fella in general. Boxing really isn't the sport for you.
He can't even get into the country (hence his recent cancellation of his upcoming tour) and because of tax issues he wouldn't fight here anyway.

Yeah, the tax and loss of casino site fees combined mean he'd likely earn less for fighting in Wembley. I believe he genuinely would like to fight in the UK just once - given that he's said so for years - but I don't see it happening, due to the reasons I already mentioned.

If it was for me, Mayweather will be poor. The guy plays too safe for me, one of the few fights I saw, was the Canelo fight. I don't recal very well but Canelo got tired in the 8, Floyd connected him good and didn't even attemp to put more hurt on him. Then Canelo got his second wind, and the fight got the usual Mayweather pattern. I couldn't finish watching it. I get it you're the best technical fighter in the world but please try to entertain.
Why should he start throwing down? Its his body and head that is on the line, if he can compile a perfect career and not end up punch drunk, should he not?
People say the same for Rigondeaux. Personally, I find it more entertaining watching these guys master boxing than than just bleed toughman and Gatti/Ward stuff.
Because it is a spectator sport. People don't want to see someone who outclass another fighter by a large margin doing the minimum needed for a win.
I can appreciate his skill but I would rather watch PAC fight with his high energy fights, cotto's violence or JMM who actually tries to finish with his counters. Or a fighter where the better, more athletic fighter loses to the tougher, meaner son of a bitch like froch/groves.
"Sleight of hand? No way. Just a thrilling matchup that was properly hyped. The battle brought a reported 80,000 fans to Wembley Stadium in London What’s more, it’s reportedly earned a million pay-per-view buys. That’s one million buys – far more than Floyd Mayweather likely did for his last fight…and far, far more than Manny Pacquiao did for his."
Froch beating Mayweather in ppv buys?

Pac and May's PPVs were 4 to 6x more expensive.
Naw, they were about 2x or a slightly more then that. The PPV was about $30 USD in the UK.
Mayweathers PPV was $65/$75
Pacs was $55/$65? I believe.

Clearly they do though, otherwise PBF's bouts would sell fuck all.
