Massive waves of illegal immigrants are like termites that wont go away it seems for some countries.

Why not only allow women? The men cause all the issues anyways. Only single women. I mean when nations are struggling with financial issues the last thing needed is single poor unstable men.

I'm down with the poster who said only taking college aged unwed women without children is the way to go. Add some culling criteria for extra goodness, they must have completed college and have maintained a living wage job for 24 months within ten years and must be married to a citizen. Any criminal activity gets them banned forever.

Saves lives, improves living standards, most likely improves general intelligence and allows for native men who wouldn't be able to secure a native woman the chance to marry.

Well they need inter EU worker movement. And that seems to not be happening. A lot of the promises that the EU had really are only benefitting a few at the expense of the many. It's also expanded far too quickly and it has become haphazard

To be fair to the Brits, one of the broad immigrant categories they have the most trouble with are Eastern Europeans (Polish, Ukrainian, etc). A novel called "Strawberry Fields" is kind of a fun look at the experience of an Eastern European immigrant in the UK. Unlike the US, the Brits at least have a direct example of a hated white immigrant group they can point to, suggesting their animosity isn't along racial lines - or, at least, not solely.
