Didn't realize Edgar is 5 ft 6. BW division will never have the prestige of LW division or today's FW division, but those divisions had Bj Penn, Aldo, and McGregor. Edgar can bring new life into this division if he can manage the Weight cut.
 
That's his natural weightclass. I think it'd be an interesting fight but Dom probably takes it.

Frankie's too straight forward and hittable. He'd be hitting air all night and Dom would touch his way to decision.
 
He would make it interesting if he can make the cut, having said that, give him a contender first, then Cruz fight.
 
Cruz does everything Edgar does but better. Would be a cracker fight though, both have endless gas tanks and are very durable.
 
Dom's too fast and elusive for Edgar, I think Edgar fights better when his opponents are a little bit bigger than him.

I don't think Edgar can drop down to BW. He already looked famish on FW.
 
So much footwork it would hurt my eyes. This is a pick em' fight in my opinion, not too sure who would win.
 
You want a former LW champion, who couldn't beat the current interm FW champ 3 years ago or 3 days ago to cut enough weigh to what Cyborg should fight at 135

To fight not only the current BW champion, but the number 2 p4p best fighter, who really should be number 1 p4p, if there wasn't a secret trolling conspiracy to try to make Mighty Mouse the best ever, so ppl could at least care.

Even though I'm an edgar fan I think Dom is too big and too good and too smart with the strategy.

But give Frankie a tune up fight at 135 first.

Would be an amazing 5 round fight
Will Pep movement to trump air punches for the decision
 
I think Frankie can get Cruz down and move through his shots. Cruz decisions him in a kickboxing match but i think Frankies wrestling wins it. He should try BW for sure
 
This fight would look like Barrera vs Naseem Hamed. The more straightforward technical and textbook boxer against the more orthodox, and off center, and off balance boxer. Frankie has better boxing, and wrestling. He's also the faster and harder hitter, and can put his punches together, and catch Dom with his 2,3, or 4, while Dom's more of a evade and counter with 1 shot type of guy.

Dom's unorthodox style will be his downfall.
 
Edgar could easily make the weight imo. He would still not be cutting as much as some of the bigger weight cutters.
