Cruz has a lined up contenders in his own division: Cody, TJ/Lineker winner, Rivera/Caraway winner. Edgar never made 135 and i don't think UFC will give him another free title shot. If he wants BW, he shold fight at least once there to prove that he can make weight

If Aldo loses to Holloway, Edgar could be 145 champ. Lots of possibilities for these elite fighters but when it comes to the best, I believe things also become unpredictable.

In a post USADA age ... I don't expect too many fighters being champs in their late 30s.

145 is getting interesting with new prospects like Ortega, Choi, and Becktic. Plus you throw Korean Zombie and Chad Mendes in the equation for a title in a year then things get spiced up again. Plus we still have to see about BJ/Rodriguez and possibly Barao if he stops beating cans and starts facing contenders again. Remember he never fought Dom Cruz.
