Francisco Trinaldo is 10-3 in the UFC and is currently on a 6 fight win streak, his latest being a win on the prelims of last night's UFC 198 where he and Yancy Medeiros put on a FotN performance where Trinaldo had Medeiros severely rocked at least 3 separate times throughout the fight and got multiple 10-8 rounds. I personally thought he was going to get a top 15 fight after he beat Ross Pearson but that didn't happen. Now that Trinaldo has gotten yet another dominant win making it 6 in a row, do you think the UFC will finally give this guy a top 15 fight?

Who would you like to see him fight next? I say give him Iaquinta or Evan Dunham.

He seems like a fringe top 15 guy at best. I'm not too excited to see him get a crack at any of those guys. He's 37 and one of his wins in that streak is a split decision over a guy that got cut.

There are so many guys at 155 who are just outside the top 15 that all deserve a top 15 fight. (Taisumov, Vick, Trinaldo, Martins)

If you give him someone in the top 15 it'd have to be either Dumham, or Magomedov, or maybe Iaquinta.

I think he would be a great opponent for Thiago Alves LW debut.

I also think Trinaldo vs Khabilov would be a solid matchup

Him against the winner of Vick vs. Dairush wouldn't be a bad idea.

Honestly I like Trinaldo vs Taisumov a lot as well. And I think that's what most likely for some reason

Should fight the Poirier vs Green winner. If he wins then a top 5 guy because 8-fight win streak rule.

That's not a bad idea either. I do have a feeling that they would probably want to fast track Poirier a bit if he beats Green. He's looked much better at 155. I think he beats Green as well, considering Green always meanders through fights, is coming off a big injury and has a tendency to let his smack get in the way of actual fighting.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the UFC make Pettis/Poirier if he wins that fight. We also have RDA/Alvarez and Chiesa/Ferguson coming up, along with Melendez/Barbosa.

155 is a fun, great division.

I like Trinaldo vs. Vick/Dariush winner a lot actually. That's a good fight. Trinaldo vs. Taisumov would be great as well. Sublime, you mentioned him welcoming Alves to 155, but what do you think about Alves vs. Michael Johnson for his 155 debut? ATT vs. Blackzilians and both strikers with power.

I honestly think if Poirier beats Green they're going to fast track him into the top 5 or someone just outside of it.

He's been looking pretty fuckin good... Just has an old man face tho

MJ vs Alves would be sweet as well.

That was a good scrap. Medeiros is tough as nails.

I am down to watch Taisumov put him out.
