Who you got in this Bantamweight bout ?

    Francisco Rivera (33 y/o), 5-2 UFC with 4 KO/TKO Finishes
John Lineker (25 y/o), 6-2 UFC with 4 KO/TKO Finishes but in Flyweight division

Both stand up fighters. At even odds i think Franciso Rivera is a very good bet

It's a sick matchup. I think Cisco catches him in an exchange and puts his lights out.

They're similar, but Lineker gives up 6 inches in height and likely reach. That may be a key difference. I think neither will be finished although someone's going down for sure. FOTN.

Cisco will be too big for Lineker. I see him winning via KO, or a lopsided decision. Sucks that Linker couldn't make 125. He would be Top 5, and Ian McCall wouldn't be.

Agreed, I think 125 is where Linekar has the best shot to be champion. I wonder if he just is too big or he's not cutting the weight correctly. With the IV ban he might never go back to FLW though.

Great match up, it will be a war. Both are absolute great strikers. The power might be for Lineker, I know he's coming from flyweight but I think he has more KO power than Rivera, who's probably more technically sound and conservative.

Tough to call, wouldn't bet on this one.

Cisco, I think that his size advantage will play an important part here. I like Lineker but he needs to get his shit together and make 125, he would be a top contender and there are plenty of fun match ups for him there.

I remember him saying that he wasn't good at cutting weight, that he had a mental block and he saw a psychologist about it.

I honestly believe this will be the proof that a) Rivera is LEGIT and b) Lineker is over-rated and cannot hang at BW, nor can he make FLY, hence he may be irrelevant.

Rivera via TKO. Rivera's hands are far slicker than Lineker's haymakers, he is equally as big if not bigger, while also fairly making weight, and Lineker won't touch him standing in boxing terms. Rivera's gonna fucking merk this cat.

Then I hope he can drop back down to FLW, I absolutely loved the beating he put on McCall.

Rivera just destroyed Caceres, and was beating Faber until Faber decided to finger-fuck Rivera in the eye, which conveniently led to a finish.

Hoping Cisco hammers Lineker back down to flyweight. That's where the dude belongs.
