Francisco Figueroa 139 1/4 vs. Luis Rodriguez 138 3 /4
Joselito Collado 125 1/4 vs. Jose Ortiz 125 3 /4
Joel Torres 137 1/2 vs. Chris Fernandez 137 1/2

Figuero is an under the radar prospect that has gained some momentum when he beat Noel Rodriguez, he faces the once beaten Mexican fighter Rodriguez. I know nothing about Luis but this will be his US debut, never a great sign. Fights start at 9

Also of note is DiBella's new deal with ESPN "ESPN Deportes has partnered with DiBella Entertainment to produce a series of boxing matches airing weekly on Wednesday nights which will feature up-and-coming Latino boxers. Each program will feature a total of three fights and will be televised with a one hour delay on ESPN Deportes. "

Figueroa is 18-2 and Rodriguez is 22-1. Could be a pretty good fight, and after all, it is on free TV. Thanks for the info, Boston.

Thank you for posting these all the time Boston, my noob-level boxing fan skills need all the new material they can get. My Wednesday nights have definitely been a lot more eventful lately because of it.

Sure beats IRON RING, no? :icon_chee

If anybody is able to post what happens, please do, as I'll be stuck in the office tonight and won't be able to tune in.

Jmyers, you always have to work some crazy hours

Ringside Remembers: Haven't seen any of his middleweight fights for so long. Toney just looks so skinny,.

The fight was a mismatch. Watching 1 round is more than enough because the whole fight looked that way. Figueroa constantly pressures and lands short punches inside (pretty much any damn punch he wants). Rodriguez showed up for a paycheck. That's about it.

**Classic fight with Bramble vs. Mancini. Boom boom looks like a young Bill Maher in that fight.

Actually, I'm a sports editor at a newspaper in Georgia. But you're right about the crazy hours. So, Figueroa looked pretty good or did he do just enough to beat Rodriguez?

Not sure if we're going to have any summer interns or not.

Summer? Now is the winter, of my discontent.

Well, it's summer here. Or it's going to be. We're still in the spring.

Nice work, JMyers.

I'm a low-level cog at Chase.... something my B.A. in Psychology really helped pave the way for.

Yeah, it seems like more and more people are getting jobs away from their field.
