Bring Gus out of retirement for a somewhat superfight.
Just for kicks, they should make an interim championship fight between Ngannou and Blaydes as a co-main. It would sell and keep Ngannou happy and busy, which is good for fans. Who knows when Stipe and DC will be healthy for their 3rd fight, and after that fight, I bet the winner will want 9 month or longer break before facing Ngannou.
Make Ngannou interim champ, have him fight 4 or 5 times a year. His fights lasts only about 60 seconds anyhow.
Stipe won by a large margin and got hurt, Ngannou didn't, no matter how you turn it. I know who looked like he was in a car crash after the fight and it wasn't Ngannou.
Someone walked away with the belt and did it without losing a single round. That wasn't Ngannou either.
They are all booked. Except Blaydes, who he KOd twice
All I got from that is: Frances is a beast and the UFC can't book him against anyone because they're doing a rubber match for the title and everyone else has already been destroyed by Frances, is afraid to fight Frances, or both.
Chill, Frances. You're a victim of your own success.
Can we please find someone for this man to knock out!? Do a trade with Bellator 2 or 3 of their heavyweights for Colby and if he loses tonight Yair.
Ufc is waiting on rumble JBGBless
thats what happens you're in a shallow division, Dana needs to stop bringing in all these lighter fighters to full out already stacked fucking divisions and get some legit fucking HW's
He's knocked out Curtis, Cain and JDS consecutively and all in under a combined 3 minutes
He's more than earned his rematch with Stipe
I knew this was going to be a problem, as a big fan it’s very frustrating.
Let him fight the winner of the Hardy fight tonight
It's a shame they can't just loan a fighter out like how Royce was loaned to the UFC from FEG/K-1 group. But with all the events the UFC has, if someone like Ngannou wants a fight just to stay busy, the UFC of all organizations should be able to comply.
In UFC's best interest for Ngannou to win fights as a champ, not as a contender since he's cleared the division already.
In UFC's best interest not to risk him losing to someone lower level or to get injured.
In UFC's best interest to put more time between the Stipe and Black Beast fights so that people forget.
I think the UFC needs to trust their audience more. Even in a dominating performance like Stipe put on over Ngannou, it was obvious that even an exhausted Ngannou was still dangerous enough that Stipe could have lost at any moment.
Ngannou wasn't scared of Derrick himself, moreso the thought of taking a prolonged beating due to being gassed. Which is why he fought extremely conservatively against Lewis. And I think he's over it, considering he has knocked out the rest of the top contenders in the division, including JDS: the guy that completely embarrassed and finished Derrick. No need to make the rematch because of that fact.
Translation: Dana, give me the rematch against Stipe, or I'm gone!
nggannou even lost a round 10-8
Pay Rumble to come down to HW.
Even he doesn't want to fight Ngannou. He was on Schaubs show and mentioned that he spared with Ngannou and that he felt his power. Schaub was pushing about this matchup but Rumble wants to fight Jones at LHW still lol.
For what? Jones will just ignore him or tell him to pick on guys his own size.
