Francis Ngannou arguably had one of the worst UFC matches in the history of the organization, barely throwing any punches against Derrick Lewis.

Ngannou was not cut for the performance or sanctioned. Ngannou is now on PFL’s athlete advisory board that is supposed to protect fighter rights from PFL overreach.

Schultz reached out to Ngannou for his opinion and to speak up, so far crickets from Ngannou as he trades insults between himself and Dana over a failed Jones fight.

Francis only cares about Francis.

Francis v Lewis was easily the worst the HW fight in UFC history and you could make a case for it being the worst. Francis was pathetic, at least Lewis threw a few but it was Francis lack of engagement which made that fight so bad. He honestly looked frozen and out of his depth in that fight.

The issue is that it was essentially a fixed fight, it wasn’t simply a matter of entertainment.

Francis is MMA’s Muhammad Ali, Arthur Ashe and Jackie Robinson. If this wasn’t a fixed fight, he would step in, but he shouldn’t support this man for being involved in questionable matches.

Even if Francis cared and thought this was wrong whats he really gonna do about it? They said this is what they are doing, they arent changing it, commission has the fight as a NC, its over.

all that talk about seat at the table and helping fighters sounds good in media but when it comes down to it the PFL calls the shots and it dont mean shit what Francis wants or anyone else.
