It doesn't mean anything.
It's not recognized by France.
In 1945 when Europe was celebrating their freedom France massacred Algerians in a genocide.
Till this day they refuse to recognise it.

When are the turks going to apologize for the genocide against Armenians, for their Imperialistic ottoman crimes in the balkans and other territories, for the blood tax also known as Devshirme where they kidnapped christian kids, why do afro turks live in Turkey because of slavery, how do armenians live nowadays in Turkey, ....

The french president said it on tv and it's not recognized by france ?
he call it '' a crime against humanity '' that's pretty strong word against what france did, it simply is against your narrative...

Every nation that committed genocides should apologise for it including Turkey and Armenia.
But I never hear you about western countries who committed the most genocides and are even taxing these countries for their own slavery.

Words don't mean anything if it's not official. That's not the official point of view of France and the governement. They deny it.

You have Russia on the anti-west side by default, i say they will probably act different (not necessary pro-west)

Are you sure a China+islam team are the best scenario for Russia as we speak?
Sounds a scenario that will left Russia in a pretty uncomfortable position after the match is over

Putin may not be a friend of the west, but sometimes you just side with the lesser (or less close) treat
