France on the verge of "civil war," says country's chief of intelligence

As I was saying in another thread, this comes down to lack of gratitude. Everyone mentions statistics of who is committing what crimes, but this ignores how people think.

If countries are choosing to let in refugees, that's am enormous favor and the refugees need to act like it.

If people are committing crimes the law abiding citizens need to stand up, have a voice, and condemn those people. Make it easier for leadership deport people. Try harder to integrate into society.

If the immigrants think they're going to come over and keep to themselves, make no effort to assimilate and condemn criminals among them, eventually they're going to find that nations don't want to take them in anymore.

Here lies the problem of "multiculturalism" when the refugees are told they don't need to assimilate.

Multiculturalism is literally designed to divide society. It is no wonder why the ruling elites love it and promote it so much.

This is where the far left gets it wrong. If you look at America it started out largely white, and every ethnicity that came over had to deal with a lot of shit before being accepted.

When you have a preconceived opinion on a group of people, it takes many repeated positive experiences to break that.

After years of working with people, living next to people, having them marry people in your family or people you know, having beers with people and conversations around a barbecue with them, that feeling of "this person is not like me he can't be trusted" starts to fade.

Eventually you learn hey this guy likes a lot of the same stuff I do, turns out I was wrong about them, they're pretty alright when you get to know them.

That process happening slowly over generations is how we got to the point we're at now, where people are pretty diverse and it works out fine most of the time.

Now they want to bring over a whole bunch of people at once, just dump them into society, and say hey don't bother to learn the language or assimilate to our customs. At the same time we have unprecedented access to media, so we here about it every single time there's an incident or a crime is committed.

It's a recipe for disaster. People are tribal in nature and acclimate slowly to change, people act like technology has changed this but it really hasn't.

I'm just a dude and all of this is common sense to me, it's puzzling that governments don't seem to understand this with all the resources at their disposal. People can adjust to each other and find common ground, but it has to be done carefully

What makes you think those in power don't understand this?

I think it's pretty obvious they do. They also understand empire, history, and warfare.

I think it's pretty clear they are bringing about conflict and division intentionally as part of long term strategy.

Honestly to me it's always murky how much of what's.going on is a result of human nature, and how much is a concentrated effort to control the masses.

I question anyone over thirty that has watched the way culture has slowly changed to embrace instant gratification and above all distraction, and doesn't think there's an agenda behind that.

There's more access to information than ever before, and you would think that would lead to more people questioning the agenda if those in power.

They've done a good job keeping people distracted with entertainment and new toys to play with, or keeping poor people fighting over slight variations in skin tone.

They're free to slowly consolidate power and strip away privacy under the guise of security, while we stay busy with the Kardashians, immigration, porn, cat pics, new phones, etc.

All methods of control and manipulation are based on the study and exploitation of human nature, so yeah it's difficult to untangle how much of each there is because it's both.

Your post reminded me of this:

The OP is talking about a fucking civil war.

There are unsafe places with a lot of thievery and criminality, especially in the suburbs, but it's nothing new.

Believing we're on the verge of a civil war is completely stupid.
"Civil war" is a huge exaggeration. No Western nations will get into a civil war anytime soon.

I did not take the intel chief's statement literally, rather a statement trying to convey the message that things are pretty bad.

That's a great comparison. People fear totalitarianism as this great obvious evil. Really it's being constantly pulled in a thousand different directions. It turns into this great collective roar of noise thst completely drowns out rational thought.

To be heard over thst constant roar you have to scream and shout like a lunatic, and at that point your opinion is dismissed because, well, you sound oike a lunatic. The only thing I'm unsure of is if it's part of some overall sinister plan, or if the noise and confusion as a mechanism of control IS the entire plan.

It's like that quote from 1984, if you want a vision of the future imagine a boot stamping on a human face forever. I think Orwell recognized the danger of thinking of everything in terms of grand conspiracies. Maybe the only conspiracy is the same tiny group of people holding all the power forever, no matter what it takes.

Well ya, that pretty much is the conspiracy. It was the same in Brave New World as well. Different permutations of the same thing. Both systems of control to keep the tiny group of power holders in place and have society serve them.

I'd say present day and trajectory is a combination of both themes. I mean, we have the whole NSA thing which is right up 1984's alley, as well as the constant manipulation and distortion of language and thoughts (hate crime, sensitivity training, etc).

And then of course we have a lot of BNW mixed in there (the sex themes are even being pushed into schools now), which is the most visible.

The grand plan is to turn it into a global system.

A friend of mine has just moved from Paris because he feels it's no longer safe for him and his family. Can't say I blame him, I was there not long ago and it really is becoming a Third World hell hole with an armed police/military presense now a common sight. It used to be a place I liked to visit but not any more.
A diverse, culturally vibrant society

I've never been to Paris but from what I've read on MMA forums it's becoming increasingly dangerous and extremely tense, they may just be on the verge of civil war.

Quick someone save that hot lady reporter MT, everyone else be damned.
