Just wanted to let everyone know you can grab some 40# kettlebells on Amazon for 36$ a piece.

I ended up getting two of them.

I tried searching Ali, Temu, etc and this is by far the cheapest I found. So if anyone wants some heavish kettlebells this is your chance.

I would disagree with the "heavish", but ok ;)

I should also add that kettlebells like these have some drawbacks that potential buyers should be aware of; first of all, their finish is very smooth and glossy, so some exercises may require heavy chalking. Second, with most of these, the finish is prone to chip off especially on the handles, leaving very sharp edges. I would advise to be especially careful not to bang them together.

Not everyone is as strong as Baby Hanma to lift bigger kettlebells. Us mere mortals have to stay within our limits.

I wanted to get 100lb ones but they are 125-150$ each.

Thanks for the heads up about the chipping. I'll do my best not to slam/drop them.

16 kg are a typical size used for pummeling for longer durations (I think Ivanov is using 14 kg here, he's in his 50ies and weighs like 65 kg):
