Fedor had his first pro fight in 2000, 18 freaking years ago. Fedor went 30-0 and 10 years before his first loss ten years into the sport. DC had his first loss 6 years into the sport and has been in it for about 9 years. Both of his losses are against Jones, so you can't really hold that against him. I imagine he'll start losing in a few years though if he keeps fighting.

Fighters age differently and have different mental and physical attributes that peak at different times. With that said, DC at his best at HW (which in my opinion was late Strikeforce/early UFC) would always be a very difficult fight for Fedor and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he managed to win.

Ya lol Mitrione, the same guy who has a KO win over current top 5 UFC HW Black Beast and just beat a guy who people mention as a solid win for the ‘UFC HW Goat’ (so logically its a good win right??)

I think it has a lot to do with popularity of mma (or lack of):

Old fighters can find success because well there aren’t a ton of new fighters so the talent pool is very small. Not to take away from a few skilled vets who are able to stay healthy and in shape in their late 30-40s
