Khan, 29, called out the Irishman last month — making it clear he was willing to switch to mixed martial arts for a no-holds-barred Octagon bout.

But he has now revealed that dust-up would be part of a two-fight deal, which would also see the duo go toe-to-toe in a boxing ring.

The former WBA and IBF super-lightweight champ told SunSport: “This isn’t just for publicity, it’s real.

Conor has been talking about fighting a boxer.

He wanted to fight Floyd Mayweather, but Mayweather didn’t want it.

“If me and Conor were going to do it, we’d do one boxing and one MMA. It would be a two-fight deal and would definitely work.”

Conor might actually survive the boxing with a decision loss if he just ran. Khan would get annihilated in a cage.

MMA first please, or we'll have a Badr Hari/Overeem situation here. Khan will duck the MMA match if they box first.

  5. Khan is calling for these fights because he is scared to box the top welterweights. He is a sell out.

Khan's chin is so ridiculously shot to the dirt, that even an inferior boxer like Mcgregor could possibly KO him by just missing a punch and having the air whiff by Amir Khan. Seriously, the guys chin is awful. Great boxer but his brain taps out quick ti the slightest touch

The wind can knock this guy out. Chinny but has great hands. One headkick from Conor and he is done.

If Canelo tapped ur chin with the same haymaker that kod Khan, you most likely wouldn't wake up.

You're very much exaggerating. Boxers aren't superhuman bro.

Not really. His chin has always been below average, but it's not terrible. You don't survive against Marcos Maidana like he did with a terrible chin. He has always had defensive issues, though. Not that any of this would matter against the likes of Conor McGregor.

I'm a fan of Brendan Schaub, but I thought it was pretty funny when he tried defending Khan's chin after the Canelo fight. It was like "well of course YOU would say that, Brendan".

Also, Khan's chin is bad, but not as bad as you all seem to be making out. It's like the Overeem and Arlovski situations all over again.

Nevermind, people -- that was just Amir mumbling in his slumber.
