Okay I was just going through my the mental martial arts library talking with some friends, and we were talking about countering. I distinctly remember reading a book about Samurai and they had a term for countering with an attack, timing it perfectly and striking to counter the opponents strike. What is this term? It's on the tip of the tongue. I think Musashi mentions it in the book of five rings but I don't have it on hand atm.

sen no sen: attack (and defend) at the same time, e.g. you block or eat a punch while simultanously giving a punch yourself.

    level 3
sen sen no sen: attack right at the moment your opponent initiates his attack, e.g. your opponent is just about to punch you but than you punch him.
