Forget Floyd vs Tenshin, how about Goochi!!!

Honestly Caldwell looked almost as big vs Horiguchi as Floyd did vs Tenshin.

He wanted nothing from Gooch on the feet and that was such a slick guillotine!

Looking forward to Horiguchi getting that Bellator belt next!
 
Horiguchi's just amazing. I think he already deserves to be classified among the best JMMA fighters.
 
Was great to see Gooch get the W. That is what I was pulling for. Thanks to Scott Coker and Sak for putting that one together!
 
They're going to rematch in Bellator right? Hopefully Horoguchi gets it done there too.
 
big win for Horiguchi for sure, Caldwell is a top and borderline FW. but to be fair it looked like he doesn't adjusted to ring very well. looking forward to a rematch in a cage.

look at the career achievements of both

Guchi has fought in the U.S and lost just once to the goat of his weight class possibly due to inexperience. Guchi has won a tournament. Guchi fought a top kickboxer in kickboxing and arguably won the fight. And yesterday he took out a good fighter who is a weight class above him..Aoki has never done any of those things..Guchi has done way more than Aoki it's not even comparable

I am not a fan of Guchi but hes slowly moving towards becoming the best Japanese fighter ever

Saku and Gomi have held Japanese MMA goat status for a loooonnnngggg time! That being said Horiguchi is in that same tier after last night.

I don't get this.

He got his TDs and spent much of the fight on top.

Remindrd me of Taimanglo fight. Caldwell is a frontrunner with a tendency to fold.

Yeah guys I saw Herzog reffing the fight, I probably expressed wrong what I was trying to say. I wasn't talking about the ref's nationality, it was about the ruleset and place.

In America they let the grinders spend more time on the floor with no action happening. Is not the same when you watch ACB or One for example.

Yeah, Caldwell should be able to trap Horiguchi against the cage and pound on him easier. Definitely a better environment for him.
