"Fedor", the mythical indestructible ice cold machine is NEVER coming back.

He IS NOT the same fighter. I along with I'm sure a lot of Fedor fans were hoping that this somehow would mark a drastic turn around from all the way back to the Bigfoot fight.

We can delude ourselves, but it is not going to happen. Never going to happen.

He will NOT become what he used to be. The magic is gone, withered up and gone for all time, no more other-worldly robotic machine, crazy non emotional staredown, mythical mystique and aura, everyone used to wax poetic about...

Fedor and Sakuraba have to rank as the toughest fighters in MMA history.

Which is another reason he is one of my favorite fighters. The way he fights is the reason I watch mma. He's a true FIGHTER, not someone who tries to outpoint you or make it to a decision. He's in it to win it, and he's humble and respectful to his foes and fans.
