This may be a strategy by the UFC's (nonexistent according to Lucifer Alpha...) marketing department to get more people to watch the prelims. Will it work? The other part of the goal is to have relatively high-quality fights ending the prelims to convince people to make last-minute PPV purchases. I think you'd be surprised how many people will see some good prelims like Chan Sung Jung vs Leonard Garcia and decide right then to buy the PPV. Not me, because I've already decided and am always watching with friends, but there are a lot of 25-35 year olds just sitting at home watching prelims who will make an impulse decision while watching the prelims.

I did not realize fight order was already set, but Khabib is only 5-0 in the UFC and 21-0, he isn`t ready for the bright lights like Robert Whittaker
