For the love of god give Khabib the title shot, not Tony Ferguson

GSP should get the title shot. He's a better fighter, more marketable, more deserving, and is about as active as Khabob.

We desperately need a thumbs down button. Khabib has nothing to earn the title. He's fought a can in the last two years. He's no where near a title shot.

Stop buying into the myths

Khabib is only 27 years old,

yet hes fought 23 times in MMA, competed several times in world sambo tournaments and BJJ tournaments

that makes him more active than most people in his division

Its rare to have that many fights at the age of 27

Khabib has just had a bad couple years, but the guy is extremely active for a 27 year old, overall.

He is fighting in a top organization with great medical and time off policies, crazy camps and is not that hungry anymore.

Like it or not Khabib is the real champ. He is the best guy so he is the man of the Lightweight division. The belt doesn't mean sh** if you do not beat the best guy who is undefeated too. He made RDA look like a debutant during three rounds. Three rounds of pure grappling domination.

Rather see Tony get it. Winning streak + Active > Winning Streak imo. I'd really like to see Khabib prove he can be active. If he wins another fight, and is ready for a title shot shortly after that it'll put him at 3 fights in an acceptable time frame and help ease everyones minds a bit whether or not he'd be able to make it to a title defense if he were to win the belt.

Forget that I want to see KN vs TF for contender.

And it's his only top 10 win in the UFC - ever. Years ago. Tell me who he beat in the top 10 within the last year to earn a title shot.

& so what beating RDA any time in your career means your the champ now? Guess Jeremy Stephens is a UFC champ too cause unlike Khabib, he actually finished RDA

BTW Undefeated record doesn't mean shit when you don't/haven't been fighting the top guys. Look at the bottom majority of his competiton pre-UFC - it's all unknown, unranked amateurs. Doesn't mean shit.

Nate vs Conor winner gets title shot
