I am huge JDS fan, but want to see Ben to succeed. Who is feeling same?

Dawg, I feel the exact same way. Junior dos Santos is my favorite heavyweight fighter but I like Rothwell quirkiness and want him to get his due.

I feel the same way about José Aldo vs Frankie Edgar.

I can't call myself a huge JDS fan, but I am a fan of his.
Quite frankly though at this point I want and expect Ben to win, he offers more intrigue to the HW division with a win anyway.

Yeah, I'd like both guys to win, and even more I'd hate to see either of them lose. They're both nice and I really don't know who to root for, but I think Ben has a better shot at the title, and he's a new guy at the top so it'd be more interesting to see him fighting for the title.

im pretty even on this fight. i think it would be great if either guy won. but at this point i am concerned for cigano's long term health and do not want to see anything to wicked happen to him.

I am a huge JDS fan and I root for JDS in this one like any HUGE JDS fan should supposed to do.

GTFO with that "HUGE" JDS fan BS

still rooting for JDS but BigBen is fucking hilarious and it wouldn't upset me if he wins and fights for the title

Same. I like watching JDS but I would love for Big Ben to beat JDS and get a title shot .

Yeah.I doubt he was a fan at all when you can't support him during a low time of his career.
I'm not fan of JDS but I have put money on him this fight so want him to win lol.

UFC's match making is dog shit bad.

Big Bens on a 4 fight win streak at HW but has to fight again, meanwhile Stipe gets handed a Title shot and every other division is held up by undeserved rematches.

JDS has to lose, Ben should already have a Title fight lined up.

I'll be rooting for JDS as usual, but it's truly amazing that Ben went from nearly retiring to becoming a legit contender. I've been watching Ben fight since he had long blonde hair lol. If he beats JDS, good for him.

Hell, as shocked as I was about his sub of Barnett, I was equally happy for him as I was sad for Josh.

WAR SOMEBODY.

Has nothing to do with supporting JDS at his low point, and everything to do with the UFC's nonsensical Title Shot policy. Rothwell deserves a Title shot, he should already have one coming his way rather than having to win 5 in a row while Stipe gets a shot off 2 wins.

Yes me too TS. War Rothwell!!!!!

I agree on Rothwell, but I wouldn't want one my favourite fighters to lose to benefit another one.

Besides this fight is as important for Rothwell as it is for Junior.

They actually asked Big Ben about this, and the UFC said he could've had a title shot if he waited, or he could fight JDS. He figured "fuck it, I've always wanted to fight JDS and he's a top 10 opponent" so he accepted. He wanted to stay busy pretty much.

This is , without a doubt, the most cruel matchup ever. My two favorite heavies ducking it out. I see Rothwell prevailing by destruction.

It's sad because JDS is such a shell of his former self that I can't picture him winning.

Good luck to both.

I'm around the tenth time rooting against him.

I did gain respect for him when he was on TUF though.
