I love cats and I think they are very cool animals, but I prefer dogs more.

I grew up with cats, and my late cat is one of my best ever mates, but I'd choose a dog.

Over here in the UK, we don't put our cats on leashes and they're generally indoor/outdoor.

My family had six growing up. Two disappeared, two were hit by cars and later died, one was put down due to unrehomable and we had to move, and my best mate was put down after getting kidney failure at twenty-three, and even he nearly lost a front leg due to being run over, and had to be taken due to the vet due to puncture wounds from foxes.

I'd pick a dog simply because I can control it. Love cats, but their independence is a drawback as well as a plus.

I'm temporarily fostering a guide dog while he goes to school.

I've always preferred dogs but never been down for the commitment of having one forever.

Dogs are probably the GOAT animal. And I say that not being a dog owner. They are fun, loyal, and a lot smarter than we give them credit for.

Cats are dead weight in all instances.
