IF mom and dad were blue collar factory types OK. but what if one's parent was exceptional at his or her craft and you try and follow and fail or if not fail miserable pale in comparison case in point

Scott Eastwood. no acting chops or scene stealing ability, no presence, no charisma......in comparison to his father that is. By himself he's got decent chops "the look" and is kinda charismatic.

when you compare him yo dad he fails. I'd much rather see scott go into business or management of actors for his father's studio where he won't be constantly compared by critics such as myself.

another example is if you're like Ken Griffey jr's son his son had enough presence of mind to not even play baseball

I'm fine with anything that doesn't lead to this.

So are you trying to tell us you can't even be considered a decent blue collar man...

Pshhhhh

SAD.

I'm a blackbelt in bjj and own my academy. My son is 13 now and has been following my footsteps. I hope I can pass on my gym to him and he continue to pass the art .

Ken Griffey Jr actually followed in his own dad footsteps. His dad was pretty good himself
