Since Paul won't be getting new 16 oz. Windy's until Spet 8 maybe,i've ordered some Twins gloves but I just recently got worried because I heard your not suppose to be using the gloves you spar with to hit bags and pads too,do you think I should buy a pair of bag gloves to be safe?

I think what youve heard/read is on MMA sparing gloves are no to be used for bag work.Anything over 12oz is fine for sparing and bag work.MMA fight gloves are 5oz and do not have enough protection for your hands for heavy bag work.Your twins will be fine.

yeh.. i actually asked a similar question on this board.. from what i read.. training gloves have softer foam for sparring.. and bag gloves have closed cell (harder) foam for bag/mitt work..

i don't know too much about the foam TWINS or windy uses (bcuz they don't tell you ANYWHERE!) but like sick said.. i've heard that it holds up to both bag work and sparring..

no.. your not supposed to use the same gloves that you use for bagwork to spar... but it doesnt really make a huge difference... unless you spar with guys who dont like getting hit.. then buy another pair.. but the guys i spar with dont really care...
