Hey everyone. My name is Adrian and i am new to the forums. I have been training for several years in BJJ and i am currently level 2 certified in MACP. I am looking into getting some fights when i get home from iraq and i have the resources to train everyday over here. if anyone has some good advice it will gladly be accepted. and i do read this and will answer any questions anyone has. thanks.
Do you train in marine jits? That is weak stuff. My brother was a marine and did all the jits that they had. I still beat him consistanly and he is pretty good by marine standard.
MACP is the Army system, I'm an Army guy but have trained in both and the Marine stuff isn't nearly as good IMO. ArmyStrong, where are you PCS/ETSing to? Basically scout gyms that are turing out competitive amy or pro fighters, check them out, when you find one you like sign up.
yeah, ive rolled with the marines that are stationed here and their stuff is garbage. i had this one where the guy had all their training and i beat him with only a level 2 cert. not very impressed. given i had some background but still. anyway ninja killa, my contract is up and im going to the nasty gaurd when i get home so i hav to find something around my hometown. i heard of a place called the legends of fighting gym in indianapolis that im going to check out. if anyone has heard of any other shoot me a line. thanks.
