I was watching the free stream of the undercrads and I was shocked to see Nam Pham on there he was part of the untelevised portion, they still had commentators

The one thing I can say is at least he didn't get knocked out he lost to a prospect Brian Ceballo this is his second pro win, Phans record was like 3 wins and 6 losses or something

I wonder why he quit doing MMA and went into boxing. from the looks of his boxrec, I hope Phan is not one of those guys that get paid to lose to pad up and coming boxers records

He stopped boxing in 2008 when he lost his first pro bout, then he started boxing again in 2015 and lost every single fight since.

Update:
Listen to Nam Phan from a video he posted today on youtube, he is slurring really really bad and he cant put a sentence together they shouldn't let him box anymore this is sad

He’s an MMA gym owner, that’s his main gig, who occasionally accepts matches on undercards to test himself. In this case, at the last minute. No need to smear him by presuming he’s throwing matches. Losses happen.

He was taking beatings towards the end of his mma career. Not surprised honestly

Nam looked upset at the decision,

Nam boxes in small ball room shows and high school gyms now, couldnt he just go into Bellator? why go into boxing and stay in boxing for cheaper money (unless he gets paid good money to dive) with 6 straight losses

brother six losses in a ROW, and if you watched it like the fight I just posted he is throwing some weird soft punches in there, there are actual boxers who get paid to lose, they dont tell them to take a dive but all you need is a wink and they get the drift

Why would he bother with six losses, he isnt a boxer from what I seen, couldn't he just go back to bellator his field which is MMA and get paid more?

it baffles me.

Going to bellator didn't work out too well for Phan.

Still pissed at Canelo... dude ruined a perfect Cinco-Da-Mayo...

Phan is what we refer to as a journeyman.

Those kind of fighters have an important role in the industry, and it's to advance other fighters.

Both Cyborg and Ronda are there. I hope they have a confrontation

by the time the GGG fight is on i heard it'll be around like 1:00 EST

and the main card at like 11:00
Its a last minute 2 fight double header.

GGG will be in midnight EST at the latest, if the women's fight goes to decision

I know Cyborg is there she always goes to those boxing shows at stubhub or staples, but Ronda? I thought she was on tour with WWE right now.

He’s not fighting for money, or rather not to make a career as a boxer chasing titles. He fights because he enjoys a challenge like that when an opportunity pops up once in a while. His main focus for years has been running his gym everyday. He’s pretty much in full coach mode, not pro fighter mode for a long time now.

Ronda is a boxing manager now and has a fighter there

He's only lost one of his boxing matches by KO, if he was getting dusted in all of his losses I imagine he would have hung up the gloves by now.
