I think it's a good fight. What did you have in mind for other matchups?

I feel like Hernandez can outland Dolidze on the feet and stick and move, maybe grapple and wear Dolidze down a bit. The key is to be very smart and aware on how to do it, since Dolidze has power and is quite crafty on the ground, too, as we’ve seen against Hermansson for example.

Both have some quality wins so I’m okay with this fight. Lets go!

I think it's a good fight. What did you have in mind for other matchups?

Its a good fight but Hernandez esp. has done enough to get a Top 5 opponent. I feel like either guy winning isn't going to move them forward a lot. Both are ranked 8 and 9. Cannonier, Borralho, Strickland, even Izzy, could've been more fun matchups.

That said, the Top of the division isn't moving along as it is, so this might be a fight that is a result of circumstances. I like Fluffy as a fighter so I had hoped he could get a crack at something bigger tbh. Maybe I'm biased.

I'm surprised it this many posts for someone to point out that Fluffy's greatest strengths (wrestling) play right into Dolidze's greatest strength, which is his guard, arguably the best guard at MW. What he did to hermanson, who is a great grappler himself, was nasty. Craig jones tells some horror stories about Dolidze's guard from grappling competitions, too.

Fluffy should be favored due to his resilience and elite conditioning, but He's going to need to be very careful in the first two rounds of both dolidze's power standing and his guard on the mat.
