Number One Bullshit
its never gonna happen
It'll happen because there's too much money on the table for all involved for it not to happen.
I'm sick with all this BS. Conor needs to be striped off his belt or fight Ferguson for the tile.
As a fight fan, I hope it doesn't happen.
How the fuck can any Conor fan want it to happen? He's retiring after he gets completely embarrassed here, if the fight were to happen.
But it won't.
Thank God, another white belt started this thread again
If it happens it's going to suck worse than the Silva Diaz fight
when they'll b ready to make it, no one will be interested
too much talk
Its fucken happening
UFC loses money on this long term.
Say Conor/Mayweather does 2 mill PPV ( i actually doubt that but lets not go into that now ). The profits from those PPV buys and other income is split multiple ways with Floyd taking the largest part. Now , if that happens even Dana has expressed doubt that Conor fights again meaning the UFC loses 3-4 Conor PPVs .
If he does not retire the UFC makes out like bandits though.
That's true but if Conor is dead set on doing it, what can you do except be one of the people making money off it?
My comment was in response to someone claiming the UFC would make a ton of money from this fight.
If they ( the UFC ) should let McGregor do it is a seperate discussion. As said , i only commented on the profit for the UFC part
But he wont be able to do it without the UFC's consent anyways..
he's still under contract and a belt holder with the UFC
Do you think repeating that over and over again is somehow going to make it come true? The fight is clearly happening.
Right, but he can just choose to retire and walk away. He's not the regular UFC fighter who has no money in the bank and no ability to earn money outside of the UFC, so the UFC have to respect that as a serious option if they chose to shut the Mayweather fight down.
It's in everyone's best interest that this fight is made. Fighter retirements are historically a joke, and even after the Mayweather fight it's highly probable that Conor gets the itch to come back to the UFC anyway.
