Floyd Mayweather wants to sign Francis Ngannou: 'He can make some noise' in boxing

Does it matter if they actually love him if they do the same things they would do if they actually loved him?
Unless that thing is declaring their love for him, I would think Yes.
It sounds like you like to put a lot of emphasis on semantics while also deliberately misunderstanding what's being discussed.
I can't argue with the first part, but the latter I do disagree with. I might very well misunderstand things, but never deliberately.
What is being discussed? I seem to miss it.

Exhibition shows, IMHO, IS NOT what this True Champion left for.

He wants to BE the best AGAINST the best.
Stark Contrast to THE POS Pico, hid for three years, AVOIDED EVERY SINGLE HW in the division. No salt, JUST A PROVEN FACT !

I see the usual Dana fan girls got in here pretty fast.

I doubt Francis signs with Floyd but who knows. It would be a hell of a lot better than signing with a lot of other promoters.

If the two things are indistinguishable and people are complex creatures who frequently don't understand themselves, why would you place importance on something intangible that may or may not be true?

You: I don't understand why you all support blah blah blah

Me: because blah blah blah these reasons

You: but if you perceive things like I do then they're the same

Did you really need this to be explained to you? I don't think you did.

I think you're right about that.

You: I don't understand why you all support blah blah blah
That is the misunderstanding that led to all of this.
What I thought the implied content of
I don't see why you would prefer Francis taking a knee to Floyd though.
was was 'Distinguishing between the two is nonsense IMO'.
I tried to make an argument why that would collide with Francis agenda being about respect and not about money, but that road didn't lead anywhere.

Francis gets embarrassed in boxing. Lets not forget he was afraid to go Toe to Toe with Black Beast. Your not wearing 4oz gloves in boxing.

That's another instance of deliberately being dense. Francis has a vast history of the UFC jerking him around and no history of Mayweather jerking him around, but you've decided that's irrelevant to him working for either company. And because of how you've chosen to interpret Francis' words, you've decided Francis is lying about his motivations and he/we should see both employment environments as identical.

Just what boxing needs. Another "big" name fighter who's not going to take a boxing fight this year. Awesome! Let's talk and argue about something that's not going to happen for 30 pages.

Floyd just wants to cash him out and I'm okay with that. The sooner that Ngannou makes his debut the better. If he thought the Black Beast was scary he's in for a real rude awakening. He'd absolutely shit himself in there against Wilder or Joshua. Forget the potential big 4 match-ups though. Even the latest contender, Zhang, as old as he is would beat the brakes off of him. Let's see if he signs to fight a top guy. I have my doubts considering it appears that he's already priced himself out. Clearly it's going to take a lot of money to get him in the ring against anyone in the upper echelon. Much more than he's actually worth.

Could....

but He's 37,
better make him fight 10 times in the next year
and make him fight top contender a year from now.

now,
#1 How much money he will ask for facing chump to start his boxing career and gain experience.
a good undercard payoff is around 50k...
def a young 37 though. Should have stayed in MMA but if he's adamant he he can line up some good paydays on undercards. The Paul bro cards etc seem tailor made for this stuff. Could probably push to 100k on a card like that. On a Jake v Fury rematch likely more, but I see he made 900k in the UFC for 2021, assuming he got to keep it I'm not sure what he's out to gain in boxing at a lower level.

Some wont take the news too well. Cool if it works out.
Maybe.
Floyd now loves prospects who might KO or at least TKO ppl and doesn't have defeat in pro boxing record....
He is a bit too obsessed with 0 for pro boxer's record. In pro boxing record.

The only noise he will make is equivalent to a tree falling when he hits the deck,I imagine the noise will be 'tiiimmmbbbeerrrr' or something similar. Just get him on the freak fight circuit and forget this shit.
