Floyd Being Attacked on IG

When her role model is an uneducated, materialistic, spouse abusing father. Can you really blame her?

I can’t believe this thread is still going
i can't believe how many people think that having money means you're intelligent.

it's the idiot's way of measuring intelligence, and there seems to be whole lot of idiots roaming around here.

Trump has actually done a great job managing an incredibly difficult and rapidly evolving situation. Perhaps if China had been more forthcoming with accurate information during the early stages then the US, the UK, Italy, Spain, etc, would have been better able to stem the tide before it started to swamp us all. Trump was also one of the very first leaders to close the borders with China and got accused of xenophobia and racism for it. He was right of course.

everything in this post is incorrect.

i cant believe how many ppl are taking this shit seriously.

A father who pays prostitutes and strippers to like him and live with him, owns strip clubs, a degenerate gambler, beats on his women, workaholic, as materialistic as they come.... Of course she has daddy issues and loves piece of shit thugs. I'd actually be surprised if she was normal. Has addict/stripper/pornstar/felon in her future if she keeps up and doesn't realize shes only ruining her life. Not Daddy's

See this is what most ppl get confused. Intellect isn't the same as intelligence. The former is essentially one's aptitude when it comes to logic, reasoning, and command of language. Its limited to mathematics, critical thinking/linguistics. The latter is so broad, there is no consensus as to its exact definition. What is certain however is that intelligence encompasses various types of mental aptitude, intellect included.

For example, would you call a world class guitar player who happens to be functionally illiterate dumb? Or a highly charismatic public speaker who doesnt know his basic times tables? Yes, Floyd is uneducated and has been rumored forever to have dyslexia. However if you refer to intelligence as one's ability to harness and apply knowledge and/or skills, or to problem solve then how can you say he's unintelligent?

Virtually a boxing savant which requires unmatched bodily kinesthetic awareness and high situational problem solving skills. On top of that, he also happens to be one of if not the wealthiest athlete ever in addition to being his own boss. That requires a high business acumen where emotional intelligence is damn near a prerequisite.

The man may be dumb in a conventional sense but he's not actually dumb if you get what I'm saying. Far from it.

This ^

I don't know why some people relate this to a general lack of intelligence. Maybe its related to boxing... A certain amount of rounds and punches will catch up to anybody, regardless how strong and skilled.
Maybe 20 years ago Floyd would have easily got out "epidemic" or "pandemic".

In order to become a boxing promoter in the US you have to pass 2 written exams. Floyd not being able to read is a myth. The man never went to school like you and me.
Ali, Andre Ward, Tyson, Mikey Garcia all got fucked over by promoters in some form and could read and articulate very well. Mayweather’s business IQ makes him what he is, never had to leave the states to fight anyone, has a boring style to casual yet is the riches fight athlete in history, became a successful promoter while still boxing, owns a chain of gyms, clothing brands, strip clubs, real-estate, and much more. I dont think you realize how learning to read late in life can be.

Lol that businessman scammed ya’ll so bad and made it into office of the most powerful country in the world by throwing zingers and not explaining any sort of future plan. He is a marketing genius. Ya’ll should stop whining about it already.

So true, the beat Mechanic i still go to till this day can speak two languages but cant read shit either like at all. He learned them from interacting with people. The man fixes shit faster than a pit stop at a F1 race.

Afaik Ali wasn't good at reading. Not sure about Tyson, but he did spend time on the street and in the boxing gym instead of school.

Not saying this was the reason they got fucked by promoters. I'm sure Tyson could have easily paid an attorney to read contracts before signing, but maybe he was too stupid in order to be that cautious, LOL.

High iq or low iq... dudes done well in his life and despite some financial mistakes has managed his money well with the right people.

Was the first mega star to break away from promoters... that takes that type ingenuity, intelligence and ambition that he seems to use.

Strange, those are attributes that Al Haymon has... Oh wait, Floyd had Haymon by his side all the way.

Mike actually reads a lot, and spent most of his time in prison in the library. He has talked about books he recently read multiple times on joe's podcast.
Quite frankly, you'd be surprised about his classical taste:
