Flow rolling with a pitbull.

Cool, I roll with my dog too, but I just end up playing turtle and defending against face attacks. She's too active

my dog wont get in my guard anymore because he knows whats coming lol

Was inspired by this thread to roll with my dog. Got slaughtered more than usual. Was playing turtle, then finally stood up and went for an ura nage. Dog likes getting picked up so this was also ineffective.

my dog is too small to roll with but i still try. he's got a pretty good open guard and inverted game.

My dog usually lays on her back waiting for me to pass the guard..

Or waiting for a belly rubbing, I'm not so sure anymore since Helio invented leverage.

That dog is keeping its arms out the entire time. Basic lack of bjj fundamentals, unless he was setting up an escape. My dog would arm bar the poop out of that dog.

I'd be very wary of putting a pitbull anywhere near my general crotch area. :icon_neut

My St. Bernards have been pretty disappointing as training/drilling partners.

As long as I remember to wear long sleeves, gloves and to shower right afterwards, I can get in a damn good rolling session with my boxer. Usually ends up with me in the front headlock position timing my break extremely carefully to avoid getting my face bitten off

Yeah I do this with my dog but she's a lot bigger. Very hard to triangle, has really good base but a tendency to butt scoot a little too much.

its all fun and games until your turtle and they start humping you... and you have to check your partner for worms

Kind of like the first person who saw a chicken poop an egg and decided to eat it, I wonder if someone saw their dog scraping their behind across the shag and thought - interesting. I may have to try that instead of going for a takedown.
