I like Conor but I 100% agree with this and it’s what is in line next but unfortunately it’s gonna take a while to happen...kinda like a new season of rick and morty

El Cucuy should still be the interim champ. Them immediately stripping him was a joke.
He and Khabib are the 2 best lightweights, by far.
No other match-up is more exciting, except maybe Gaethje against either of them, or Conor vs Cucuy. But Tony will maul McG.

kind of... the media def want khabib vs conor.
the casuals dont actually "want" it untill the day of.
its more like, "oh the conor fight is on today, lets order the ppv and have people over"... its like a last second 'want'
but unfortunately, this last second 'want' by the casuals make up most of the ppv buys.
Tony vs Khabib is a 'need' from actual mma fans. the type of shit we get excited for months before.
This is why, the decision by the UFC to go with Conor vs Khabib will show that they dont give a fuck about the real fans and only give a fuck about money. Truth.

I'm a huge McGregor fan, and I completely agree with you.
Unless there's a split decision (or draw), I don't think people should get immediate rematches. Conor can fight Aldo, Diaz, or another contender at 155. He should need to win 1-2 fights before getting another title shot.
And Tony vs Khabib is by far the most intruiging match at 155 now. I personally think Tony takes that fight.
