First victim of the Ashley Madison Leak revealed

Thanks for this link. It's good to know there are at least some people on the planet capable of placing the rule of law and the right to privacy above their personal biases.

But it's not surprising we don't see the same SJW's who loudly decried the Fappening, for example, standing up for the rights of AM's violated clientele; a group for whom the ultimate personal and professional damage done is worse by several orders of magnitude.

It was inevitable that an exercise such as this would ruin reputations, lives, and careers, that it would destroy families, and drive some individuals to despair

Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke.

Don't judge other people's morality when you yourself are a dirty, scheming, cheating prick.

So were the millions of AM customers who weren't religious hypocrites - or religious in any way - simply acceptable collateral damage in the "hunt" for Josh Duggar?

People who lead double lives are so pathetic...

Would you apply this to a closeted gay person?

If a closeted gay person had his phone hacked. And the pictures and texts outing him as homosexual were made public. And the response from this guy's family upon learning this news was so negative that he ended up committing suicide...

... would you think the criminal invasion of his privacy and his resultant death at his own hand served him right - based on what you might deem the "pathetic and cowardly" choice he had made to hide his same-sex attraction and "lead a double life" in the first place?

I am not justifying the hackers. What they did is extremely bad. What I am doing is throwing insults at those pathetic schmucks who don't have the guts to live the life they want to live, for example that of an eternal bachelor, due to whatever reason, and then get married, only to fuck it up and severely hurt the children in the process.

And as far as gays are concerned...the only ones who should remain in the closet are those unfortunate souls who had been "screwed over" and born into some shit hole of a country where homosexuality is punishable by death or other harsh means.

Wonder how many folks are going to lose their jobs over this . . . moral of the story - don't use your work email on dating sites.

The real moral of the story:

Don't be unfaithful to those you have taken a vow with. Not only does e it hurt everyone involved, but even if you "get away with it" you still will have to go through the rest of your life not knowing what being in a committed, loving, relationship is actually like.

Way to kill my lame attempt at a joke . . . . :icon_cry2

Holy shit... It's personal liberty, property rights, non-aggression principle guy overlooking data theft and invasion of privacy.

But I guess if the government had done what the hackers did your outrage would have been violently triggered.

How is it worse? The fappening, which I didn't really have an opinion on, was someone stealing naked pictures of people and putting them online for no reason. Having a naked picture of you being put online without your permission is horrible. Those women did nothing wrong at all and had their privacy violated.

With the Ashely Madison hack, people who cheated on their spouses had their privacy violated. So their spouses were able to leave someone who was an unfaithful lair. Someone who might have brought diseases, drama, and all the other consequences of cheating, into their lives. That's not "worse by several orders of magnitude", the primary wronged party here is the people who were cheated on, and it's good they have the knowledge they now have, so they can move on and try to find a more honest partner.

You have a seriously deranged perspective here.
