Who was the first guy to jump on the cage as a post fight celebration? I'm wondering who set the trend.

In before Mark Coleman celebration gif.

I hope it was the winner of the fight. That'd be a weird way to react to a loss.

I would imagine it happened in the first few UFCs ....curious as well

Good question, I'm intrigued.

It is a good question. One that won't likely be answered by using google.

Calling all old school guys....
(I honestly don't remember, but I do remember Joe Son or Kimo jumping on the cage when Royce couldn't continue).

I don't like how it seems within the last few years the commissions have been having heart attacks when a fighter sits on the fence. They seem like they always try to stop a fighter from celebrating

It would be bj penn but he'd rather have his coaches lift him on top of their shoulders.

It was Emmanuel Yarborough.

lol, hey cut it out. My podcast interviewed Manny just 4 months before he passed. He was the sweetest man ever. So kind. I really wish he'd have gotten gastric bypass sugery like he wanted but he'd been scared he'd die on the operating table like a poker buddy of his. It was sad. He'd still be alive had he just followed through with it.
