Two question thread.

First film you ever saw in the theater. Mine was the original release of Star Wars in 1977. I recall seeing it before long lines... took a minute to catch on.

Second question. Film you walked out on. I left Eraserhead and to this day haven't been able to make it through the whole film. It's a sleeping pill.

Earliest film I can remember is Batman Returns.

I've walked out on several films, first being the Rugrats movie. Boring as hell. Others include the hangover, planes, ted.

Now looking back, I should have walked out of the pokemon movie. Regret wasting my parents money and time for that piece of shit.

I can't remember which film I saw first in the theater. I was too small.
I believe the first film I actually walked out on (and this is a huge gripe with me since my father has the terrible habit of walking out on great films if he isn't engaged in the first 5 minutes) was Peter Hyam's Musketeer. I just couldn't do it.

first movie ever: Mac and Me (I knew it was a shit movie even at that age)

film I walked out on: I don't think I ever walked out on a movie.

I can't remember the first one ive seen but the first one I walked out on was the village.

first movie I saw was Aladdin when I was like 5 or something (first movie i remember seeing anyway). I haven't legitimately walked out of a movie. I left K19 early though, because the gf wasn't feeling well.

I walked out on the Rugrats movie. Boring and stupid as shit.

I saw the Rugrats movie and I reasonably enjoyed it. But have NEVER sought to revisit it, which is usually telling for me. Same deal with enemy of the state which came out at the same time- I saw it in theaters and liked it but then never was motivated to sit through it again.

First film I recall seeing in theaters was The Rescuers Down Under- pretty legit, underrated Disney movie. I'm sure I went to the theaters multiple times before that but that's the first I remember.

Never walked out on a movie. I was tempted only once or twice.

Nearly walked out of Zodiac, Haywire and Iron Man 3.

But instead, I endured Haywire, as I was on a "date".

I fell asleep in both Zodiac and IM3. Awful fucking films.

Haha my brother always tells a hilarious story where this girl he was hanging out with at college was LEGITIMATELY trying to argue that Mac and Me was superior to ET. Good luck with that.

I've seen trailers for this new movie called Echo or something like that that looks like Batteries not Included mixed with ET mixed with a turd.

Baby mama with the SNL chicks. First movie I've ever walked out on, and I've seen some shit in my lifetime.

Ironically, As Good as it Gets. Kind of doesn't count, as it was back when sneaking into movies was so cool I didn't bother finishing watching them so I could sneak into more.

I'm compulsive about watching stuff to the end. I've sat through The Medallion, War, House of the Dead, Dungeon Siege, the Secret Life of Bees and worse.

Field of Dreams was my first

I walked out on Club Dread and slept thru 300, I was with other people so I couldn't just leave.

I believe the first movie I saw in theaters was the movie Congo, the lazer gorilla fight at the end with the volcano was dope. The first movie I walked out on though was Mortal Kombat Annihilation. My friend and I both looked at each other after they killed of Johnny Cage and both nodded, got up and walked out. First movie that I went out of my way to see when I was young, what a stinker.

First movie was Jedi. Never walked out of a film.

The Lion King was my first.

Never walked out of the theater. Was tempted with White House Down though. Terrible movie.

Earliest I can remember is Pocahontas.

Only ever walked out on two films, Tomb Raider 2 The Cradle of Life and Skyfall.

*Edit Just remembered I saw the Lion King in the cinema, I think that was before Pocahontas.

Mine was either Ghostbusters 2, Fox and the Hound, or A Land Before Time. I might have to look it up which came out first.

And the first movie I walked out on was The Avengers. In the very first scene. The theater advertised it was in IMAX 3D, and it was anything but.
