Tonight I have my first boxing class and I'm not really too sure what to expect as I've never done really much stand up work at all. I've done some 1 on 1 training with my old coach who also did Muay Thai but that was very minimal and other than that nothing.

I know they're not going to feed me to the wolves but on an average class how do things go? How are boxing warm ups and all that?

Skipping, bag work, basic techniques/drills and maybe some mitt work.

I've already done basic punches in Muay Thai. Are they the same as in boxing. I couldn't imagine a jab being different anywhere else.

Pretty much but you will be spending wayyy more time on punching technique. IMO the footwork in boxing is better suited for MMA.
